Death of a Colony

Maala reminded me of an emotional day with this story. It was the first time one of our colonies died, and she recounts it so beautifully. The thing I remember is how some of the bees seemed frozen in mid-action. Thank you, Maala, for sharing this. Would still love to hear your bee stories too.

Einstein's Words

Justine is terrified of bees, as so many of us are, but she knows they are important because of what Einstein said about them. We want to hear your thoughts about bees too.

drawing by Uma

The first story about bees to arrive in the subtlebeing inbox comes from the amazing and talented Mr. Rahul Nair in Pickering, Ontario. I hope you'll tell us your tale about bees too. Find out how here.
